delicious cookies, easy and quick

Chop the chocolate. Then cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix in the egg. Mix together the flour and baking powder and stir briefly. Now fold in the chopped chocolate. Using two teaspoons, scoop out walnut-sized portions of the dough and place them well apart on the baking sheets lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (150°C fan-assisted oven) for about 15 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for five minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. Note: When you take the cookies out of the oven, they will be soft to begin with. This will change after they have cooled. Do not leave them in the oven for too long. The dough will spread, so make sure you leave enough space between them.
