the best chocolate cookies ever, with white and dark chocolate
Finely chop the white chocolate and 200g of dark chocolate. Cream the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Stir in the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and oats, along with the chopped chocolate, and stir into the mixture. Shape the cookie dough into a long log (approx. 5cm thick), wrap in cling film, and place in the freezer for approx. 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Remove the dough from the freezer, remove from the film, and cut into approximately 5mm-thick slices. Place the cookies, leaving enough space between them, on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack for approx. 2 hours. Chop the remaining dark chocolate and melt it over a pan of hot water. Fill a small piping bag with the melted chocolate and decorate the cookies with chocolate stars and dots (or similar). Now just let the chocolate icing dry, and you’re done!
