Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 110 g pitted dates
  • 45 g cashew nuts
  • 20 g oat flakes
  • 1 tbsp, heaped cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp, leveled orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 10 g puffed amaranth
  • n. B. Chocolate sprinkles, optional

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Finely chop the dates and cashews in a blender. Slowly add all the other ingredients, one at a time—except for the amaranth. Note: Omit the chocolate sprinkles to keep the chocolates healthy. They still taste amazing. Form the slightly sticky dough into small balls and roll them in the amaranth until each ball is completely coated. Refrigerate the chocolates for at least 30 minutes to firm up a bit. Tip: These chocolates are great as a snack or as a midday treat.
