Chocolate gingerbread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 eggs
  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Gingerbread spice
  • 200 g chocolate coating for spreading

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Mix eggs, butter, and sugar. Melt the chocolate or finely grate it and add it. Add the hazelnuts, vanilla sugar, gingerbread spice, and flour and mix well (I only use half a packet of gingerbread spice, but that’s up to you). Pour the dough onto a large baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes. While the gingerbread is still warm, spread it with chocolate coating and let it dry. Then cut it into small wedges. Tip: If you want the gingerbread a little thicker, you can also make one and a half copies of the recipe.
