Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 140 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 75 g chocolate sprinkles or chocolate drops

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Combine the margarine with salt, vanilla sugar, and sugar, and mix in the egg. Combine the flour and baking powder (sift if necessary) and mix in. Then knead in the chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts. Cover the dough with aluminum foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon, scoop out about 25 cookies. It’s best to form a ball with your hand and press it together lightly. Place the cookies on the baking sheet, leaving some space between them, and bake at 175°C for about 15 minutes.
