Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g sugar
  • 15 g beetroot
  • 115 g butter, soft
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 125 g hazelnuts
  • 200 g chocolate (1 bar of dark chocolate and 1 bar of Alpine milk chocolate)

Place the sugar in a bowl and add the beetroot. Mix with your fingers and rub until there are no lumps. Add the butter and egg and mix well with a mixer. Combine the flour, baking soda, vanilla sugar, and salt, and roughly chop the hazelnuts and chocolate. First stir the flour mixture into the dough, then knead in the nuts and chocolate. Form the dough into walnut-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
