Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cake base (Viennese base, dark, 3 layers), 26 cm diameter
  • 1 pack of pudding powder (chocolate)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 50 g chocolate (dark), chopped
  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 125 ml whipped cream
  • ½ tsp cream stiffener
  • 1 pack of biscuits (Mikado sticks – pastry sticks with chocolate, 100 g)
  • e.g. chocolate (some Smarties) for decoration
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the cake base into drop shapes. Crumble the cut edges. For the cream, prepare the chocolate pudding with sugar, vanilla sugar, and milk according to the package instructions. Stir occasionally while cooling. Cream the butter until smooth and gradually stir in the cooled pudding. Halve the cream and mix half of it with the biscuit crumbs. Spread each layer with the cream without the biscuit crumbs and place them on top of each other. Cover the hedgehog with the cream and biscuit crumbs, making the body slightly thicker than the head. Whip the cream with cream stiffener until stiff and decorate the hedgehog with it. Stick the Mikado sticks into the hedgehog as spikes and use some Smarties for the eyes and nose. Finally, dust the hedgehog with cocoa powder and refrigerate for a while before serving.
