Chocolate Lava Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 170 g dark chocolate or couverture
  • 110 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • some vanilla extract
  • Butter and flour for the mold
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, melt the chocolate with the butter. Meanwhile, combine the eggs, sugar, and salt until the mixture is thick and yellow. Then add the flour and vanilla extract and continue stirring. Finally, add the melted chocolate butter (it shouldn’t be too hot) and mix everything well. Pour the batter into floured and buttered pans and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 10 minutes. Then let the cakes cool briefly, remove them from the pan, dust with powdered sugar, and serve immediately.
