Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g chocolate or couverture (dark)
- 4 egg whites
- 200 g sugar
- 250 g almonds, sliced
- 40 wafers (more if needed)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
enough for about 40 pieces
Chop the chocolate (or couverture coating) into small pieces. Beat the egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the almonds and chocolate into the beaten egg whites. Spread the wafers on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and drop the egg white mixture onto the wafers with a teaspoon. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the macaroons for about 15-20 minutes.
