Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
brownie-like treat not only for Christmas, makes about 20 pieces
Knead all ingredients into a dough (you can use a dough hook first, then your hands at the end). Pinch off walnut-sized pieces of dough, roll them into balls between your palms, and then press them into small mountains with your fingers. Place them on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Bake for about 14 minutes. Remove the chocolate mountains from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate over a pan of simmering water and then cover each mountain with “snow.” They’re best stored in a cookie tin, where they’ll improve day by day.
