Chocolate mousse a la Bea

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 40 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp water, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Separate the eggs, beat the egg whites and cream separately until stiff peaks form. Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly. Beat the egg yolks with 2 tablespoons of hot water, then drizzle in the sugar and beat until creamy. Stir in the still-melted chocolate. Immediately fold in the cream and beaten egg whites. Let the mousse set in the refrigerator.
