Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 110 g butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 large eggs
  • 240 ml milk or cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract, or 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 260 g flour, smooth
  • 135 g white sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 170 g chocolate, cooking chocolate or milk chocolate

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. In another large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips. Using a spatula, stir the wet ingredients, along with the butter, into the dry ingredients. Stir gently, but don’t overmix, or the muffins will become hard. Pour into muffin tins and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 15-20 minutes.
