Chocolate muffins with Nutella core

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 260 g wheat flour
  • 45 g wholemeal flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp baking cocoa
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 195 ml milk
  • 75 g sugar
  • e.g. Nutella

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Makes 12 muffins. Combine the plain flour, wholemeal flour, and baking powder in a bowl and add the cocoa powder. Combine the cocoa powder and flour mixture with the eggs, butter, milk, and sugar, and mix with a hand mixer. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan). Fill the muffin cups halfway with batter. Add a little Nutella to the center of each cup and top with more batter. Bake the muffins for 15 minutes, checking if they’re done with a skewer at the end. When the muffins are done, decorate them as desired.
