Chocolate muffins with strawberry yogurt heart

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 75 g sugar
  • 45 ml oil
  • 225 ml buttermilk
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ lemon(s), organic, grated peel and juice
  • 200 g flour
  • 60 g cocoa
  • 1 fruit yogurt (strawberry yogurt) for the filling
  • possibly food coloring, red

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

for 12 muffins

Combine the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, lemon zest and juice, oil, and buttermilk in a mixer. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Fill the muffin tins three-quarters full with the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes, then let cool completely. Use a small heart cutter to cut a heart out of the center of each muffin. Fill the cavity with strawberry yogurt. If you want a strong red color, tint the yogurt with red food coloring.
