Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup of drink powder, e.g. Benco or other drinking cocoa
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 cup hazelnuts, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Butter, for the mold
  • Flour , for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Pour the sour cream into a bowl, rinse out the bowl, and use it to measure and add the other ingredients. Blend the ingredients with a mixer until they form a nice, smooth mixture. Either warm the butter and spread it into the cake pan or simply spread the hardened butter evenly in the pan. Add the flour to the pan and then tap out any excess flour. Bake at 180°C for about 50 minutes. I then poke it with a knitting needle to check if it’s cooked through.
