Chocolate-nut-cherry cake from the microwave

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 25 ml water
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 20 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 50 g chocolate shavings
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • 75 ml cherry juice (from the morello cherries)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, skim off 75 ml of the morello cherries’ juice. Then, beat the eggs and gradually stir in the remaining ingredients, except for the morello cherries. Pour the batter into a 20 cm diameter silicone mold. Distribute about 15-20 morello cherries on the batter and microwave uncovered for about 4-7 minutes at 900 watts. This is perfect for a quick snack or to surprise unexpected guests. You can serve it with whipped cream.
