Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter, melted
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s) (size M)
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 tsp, leveled cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 125 g chips (chocolate chips)
  • 175 g flour
  • 75 g macadamia nuts, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Cream together butter, sugar, and salt. Stir in the egg, vanilla bean seeds, cinnamon, and cocoa powder. Add the chips, flour, and nuts and quickly knead. Cover and refrigerate for about 60 minutes. Line two baking sheets with baking paper. Using a teaspoon, scoop out walnut-sized pieces of dough. Shape into balls with moistened hands and place 3 cm apart on the baking sheet. Bake one at a time in an oven preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat, fan: 160°C, gas mark 2) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
