Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 60 g cornstarch (potato starch)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp orange peel, untreated, grated
- 125 g margarine
- 125 g chocolate shavings
- 1 egg(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 42 minutes

Knead all ingredients into a shortcrust pastry by hand. Form the dough into 2-3 rolls (approx. 3 cm in diameter) and refrigerate overnight. The next day, preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Cut thin slices (approx. 1 cm) from the dough rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Flatten slightly with the palm of your hand. Bake at 200°C for 10-12 minutes, depending on the desired browning.
