Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 220 g flour
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 20 g butter
  • 75 ml water
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g chocolate, chopped
  • possibly yogurt or egg yolk or cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Mix the flour, sugar, and salt. Melt the butter. Pour the water into a measuring jug and add the dried yeast. Add the melted butter to the water and yeast mixture. Then add 1 egg and mix well. Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients in the bowl and knead well. Cover and let the dough rest in a warm place for one hour. After the hour, knead the dough once and knead in the chocolate pieces. Keep some of the dough pieces aside. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Distribute the remaining chocolate pieces on the chocolate rolls. Bake the rolls for approx. 25-30 minutes at 160°C (convection oven). Tip: If you like, you can brush the rolls with yogurt, egg yolk, or liquid cream before baking so that they turn a nice golden brown.
