Chocolate rolls for sweet tooths

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 300 g wheat flour, type 405
  • 40 g chocolate, whole milk
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for 8 pieces, for a sweet breakfast

Sift the flour with the baking powder. Add the salt, milk, oil, sugar, and vanilla sugar and mix everything by hand or with a mixer (dough hook). Stir in the chocolate, cut into small pieces. Dust the work surface with flour, shape the dough into a log, and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Then shape into long or round rolls. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the rolls on the rolls. Make a 1 cm deep cut lengthwise in the center of the rolls, then brush with egg. Bake the rolls on the middle rack of the oven at 160°C (fan oven) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
