the special dessert

Beat the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs and egg yolks, then add the flour and melted chocolate coating and pour into buttered baking dishes. Flash freeze the dishes (freeze completely) and bake from frozen in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-16 minutes. Serve warm immediately. The highlight is that the chocolate center stays liquid and runs when cut (hence the medium-rare version). Serve with cinnamon ice cream, pickled figs, or other winter fruits. A simple yet sophisticated dessert. It’s easy to prepare and store in advance.
