Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 140 g flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g butter
- 40 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 100 g hazelnuts, ground
- 50 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- powdered sugar
- Apricot jam
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Mix the flour with salt, add small pieces of butter, and knead into a shortcrust pastry. Add the cocoa, hazelnuts, sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg yolk. Knead into a shortcrust pastry. Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 cm thick and cut out stars. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for about 10-12 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar while still hot, then let cool. Warm the apricot jam and use it to assemble two stars each.
