Chocolate Stars
The perfect chocolate stars recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Flour
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 Knife point Ground cinnamon
- 100 g Ground almonds
- 100 g Grated chocolate
- 150 g Butter
- 1 Egg
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. Pack in foil and put in the fridge for approx. 2-3 hours. Roll out about 3 mm thick on a lightly floured surface (baking board). Cut out small stars and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 200 degrees top heat or 175 degrees hot air for about 8 minutes until light brown. For filling, heat the apricot jam (homemade, of course, tastes best) and place on the underside of a star. Put another star on it. Then coat the cooled pastries with liquid chocolate couverture and garnish with chopped almonds
