  • 600 g walnut kernels
  • 300 g dark chocolate bar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Spread the walnuts on baking paper. Make sure the kernels are next to each other, not on top of each other, so that they all get the chocolate coating later. Melt the chocolate block in a double boiler. Once it’s nice and smooth, pour it into a decorating pen and use it to decorate the walnuts with chocolate stripes. To do this, squeeze the chocolate out of the pen and run it over the walnuts in all directions. Leave the nuts on the baking paper for about 30 minutes so the coating can set. Finally, fill six small gift bags (110 x 190 mm) with the chocolate-covered walnuts. You’ve got a quick gift ready, perfect for when you need to conjure up something at the last minute.
