Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 2 bunch carrots
  • 2 kohlrabi
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Herbs of Provence
  • 400 ml sweet cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes, carrots, kohlrabi, and onion. Score the fat side of the chops about 1 cm deep, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and sear briefly on both sides. Place in the oven at about 100°C for 20 minutes. Fry the onions in a little oil, add the potatoes, carrots, and kohlrabi, and braise briefly. Season with salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs, and deglaze with the cream. Simmer for about 20 minutes, and you’re done.
