Chopped Tofu with King Oyster Mushrooms

The perfect chopped tofu with king oyster mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Tofu firm
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 0,5 tsp Curry powder
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 bunch Spring onions fresh
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 150 g King oyster mushrooms
  • 1 a cup Creme fraiche Cheese
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  1. Cut the tofu into strips, season with salt and pepper. Mix the lime juice with curry and soy sauce and marinate the tofu strips in it for about 15 minutes. Grate the king oyster mushrooms and cut into pieces. Wash the spring onions, shake dry and cut into diagonal strips. Fry the onions and mushrooms in the hot oil. Drain the tofu strips and fry them with the spring onions and mushrooms. Add the creme fraiche and stir in. Season with nutmeg and cayenne pepper and simmer for about 8 minutes. Divide the dish on plates and garnish with spring onion rolls. Serviette dumplings go very well with this.
