Chorizos with honey

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 12 small sausages (chorizos), fresh, not aged, about 3 to 5 cm
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Chorizos with honey

Pierce the chorizos all over with a fork (to allow the fat to render) and fry them all over in a pan over low heat with olive oil. Don’t let them get too brown, but some of the fat should render. Place the chorizos on a plate and drain off the fat from the pan. Return the chorizos to the pan and add the honey. Let them caramelize all over for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Serve hot in small bowls or plates with some baguette.
