Christine's Shake – Gingerbread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g flour
  • 300 g sugar
  • 100 g ground almonds or hazelnuts
  • 1 pack of gingerbread spice
  • 1 tsp clove powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 g butter, liquid
  • 150 g chopped, candied fruit (optional)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp honey, liquid
  • Cake icing (chocolate)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

My own recipe: super delicious, easy, quick, always successful.

Put the sugar, flour, fruit, ground nuts, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and spices in a large bowl. Cover and shake well until everything is combined. In a separate bowl, mix together the butter, milk, honey, and eggs. Add the wet ingredients to the large bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix everything well. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough on it. Bake for about 20 minutes. After baking, cover the gingerbread with chocolate glaze. Cut into pieces while still warm. Tip: I often make the dough with a hand mixer. It saves energy and is faster.
