Christmas Balls …
The perfect christmas balls … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Spice – Speculoos
- 100 g Milka Zartherb
- 100 g Milka whole milk from the Alps
- 30 g Powdered sugar
- 75 g Soft butter
- 2 tablespoon Amaretto
- Cocoa powder
- Put the speculoos in a freezer bag and crumble finely with the rolling pin. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt over a hot water bath. Allow to cool slightly.
- Sift powdered sugar into a bowl. Add the butter and stir with the mixer for 5 minutes until creamy. Stir in the amaretto. Add the chocolate and mix with the butter mixture. Fold in the speculoos breadcrumbs. Chill the mixture for two hours.
- Sieve cocoa powder onto a plate. Shape the mixture into balls and roll them in the cocoa powder. Put in paper praline cases. To give away … or to eat yourself … 😉
