Christmas Balls …

The perfect christmas balls … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Spice – Speculoos
  • 100 g Milka Zartherb
  • 100 g Milka whole milk from the Alps
  • 30 g Powdered sugar
  • 75 g Soft butter
  • 2 tablespoon Amaretto
  • Cocoa powder
  1. Put the speculoos in a freezer bag and crumble finely with the rolling pin. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt over a hot water bath. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Sift powdered sugar into a bowl. Add the butter and stir with the mixer for 5 minutes until creamy. Stir in the amaretto. Add the chocolate and mix with the butter mixture. Fold in the speculoos breadcrumbs. Chill the mixture for two hours.
  3. Sieve cocoa powder onto a plate. Shape the mixture into balls and roll them in the cocoa powder. Put in paper praline cases. To give away … or to eat yourself … 😉
