Gyros À La Heiko

The perfect gyros à la heiko recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Schnitzel meat
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Onions
  • Gyros spice
  • Salt, pepper from the mill
  • Chilli from the mill
  • Thyme
  • Marjoram
  • 6 tbsp Oil
  • 8 tbsp Water
  1. Cut the schnitzel into strips. Peel the onion and garlic. Cut the onions into strips and the garlic into cubes.
  2. Make a marinade from the oil, water and spices. Put the meat in the marinade and mix well. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for a good hour.
  3. Heat a pan and fry the gyros in portions. Arrange on a plate with french fries and tzatziki and serve. Good Appetite.
