spicy chocolate cookies without cutting out

Chop the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler or in the microwave. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Combine the softened butter and brown sugar in the flour mixture. Add the eggs, gingerbread spice, melted chocolate, and milk and mix well. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Place most of the powdered sugar in a shallow dish, form the cookie dough into walnut-sized balls, and then roll them in the powdered sugar until completely covered. Place the balls on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper) with some space between them and bake for 8 minutes. Let the cookies cool briefly and then dust with the remaining powdered sugar.
