Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g flour
- 200 g oat flakes
- 120 g margarine
- 60 g sugar
- 30 g yeast
- 2 eggs
- 250 ml milk, lukewarm
- ¼ tsp salt
- Flour
- 25 paper cups
- 1 egg yolk
- 200 g marzipan
- 100 g powdered sugar
- Food coloring, red
- 1 tbsp egg white
- ½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour
Knead the flour, oats, margarine, sugar, yeast, salt, eggs, and milk into a smooth dough, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Knead the dough again and divide it into 25-30 equal pieces. Cut off a quarter of each piece and form one large and one small ball. Place the large ball in the baking cups. Make a depression in the center, brush with egg yolk, and place the small ball on top. Brush everything with egg yolk and let stand for 10 minutes. Then bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Knead the marzipan with the powdered sugar. Roll out half and cut out beards. Color the other half red and roll it out, cut out semicircles, and shape it into hats. Use the leftovers to make noses, eyes, and hat fillings. Mix the powdered sugar with the egg white and use for sticking and decorating.
