  • 100 g marzipan
  • 100 g quark
  • 100 g natural yogurt
  • 3 tbsp Amaretto
  • 200 ml cream
  • 5 apples
  • some lemon juice
  • some water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 100 g amaretti biscuits
  • n. B. Amarettini
  • n. B. chocolate drops

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 50 minutes

Layered dessert in a glass

Peel the apples and finely chop them. Bring them to the boil in a saucepan with a little water (just enough to cover the bottom), a little lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, then simmer for a few minutes until the apples are nice and soft. Put half of the mascarpone and the marzipan in a bowl and mix well, ideally with a hand blender, until you get a smooth mixture. This step can be a little difficult due to the consistency of the marzipan. Mix in the remaining mascarpone, quark, and yogurt. Season to taste with the Amaretto, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Crumble the amaretti biscuits and divide between the dessert glasses. Spread half of the mascarpone cream on top, then half of the apple compote. Fill each glass with a second layer of cream and apples. Decorate the desserts beautifully with anything you can think of, e.g. E.g. amaretti, whipped cream, chocolate drops, marzipan hearts, Christmas decorations, etc. It is best to refrigerate for 1 – 2 hours before serving.
