Christmas Pasta Bake
The perfect christmas pasta bake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Spiral pasta
- 500 g Minced meat
- 1 Onion
- 2 Toes Garlic
- 1 Carrot
- 1 piece Celery
- 3 tbsp Tomato paste
- 300 ml Mulled wine
- 300 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 packet Cheese fondue
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried oregano
- Chili powder
- Hot paprika powder
- Oil
- 2 tbsp Flour
- Cook the pasta in salted water al dente.
- Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic, clean the carrot and celery, dice as well and sauté everything in the oil.
- Add the minced meat to the vegetables and fry them until crumbly, stir in the tomato paste, dust with flour and season with salt, pepper, chilli powder, paprika and oregano, deglaze with the mulled wine and vegetable stock and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Drain the pasta in a sieve, mix well with the vegetable sauce, distribute in a baking dish, pour the cheese fondue over it, and bake in a preheated oven at 220 ° C for approx. 20 minutes.
