Lasagna with a twist!

Puree the cream, milk, eggs, garlic, and 3/4 of the basil with a hand blender, then season with salt and pepper. Cut the bread into approximately 16 slices. Slice the tomatoes as well. Place approximately 8 slices of bread in a greased baking dish, arrange half of the tomatoes and 4 slices of cooked ham on top. Sprinkle with 100g of grated cheese. Pour half of the basil cream over the bread. Then pour over the remaining slices of bread, tomatoes, ham, cheese, and finally the remaining basil cream. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 220°C for 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining basil leaves before serving.
