Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g whole wheat flour
  • 100 g butter, room temperature
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

simply

Mix the sifted flour with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Then add the egg, cut-up butter, honey, and cinnamon. Knead everything well with a dough hook until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Then knead everything briefly by hand until the dough is smooth. Form the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for about an hour. Divide the dough in half, roll it out not too thinly, and cut out cookies. Store any unused dough in the refrigerator, as it quickly becomes too soft to cut out. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) for about 10 minutes. Then decorate the cookies as desired. Tip: Sprinkles and sugar pearls also stick when icing. This dough is enough for one baking tray.
