Ingredients

  • 700 g Flour
  • 375 g Butter
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cinammon
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 1 Lemon
  • 7 Big apples
  • 3 Eggs
  • 250 g Powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp Warm water

Instructions

  • Using the flour, soft butter, eggs, sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 150 g of sugar, baking powder and the peel of the lemon, knead a smooth, good dough.
  • Then wrap in foil and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Peel the apples and grate them roughly. Add the lemon juice and cook for about 10-15 minutes. Add the remaining 150 grams of sugar and the cinnamon, stir well and let cool.
  • Divide the dough into two equal halves and roll out (about 1/2 cm thick).
  • Grease the tray and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the dough on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the dough again with some breadcrumbs.
  • Spread the apples over the dough and place the second rolled out dough over the apples. Bribe everywhere with one cable.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° and bake the cake at the same temperature for about 30 minutes.
  • Mix powdered sugar and 4 tablespoons of warm water into a liquid glaze and brush the cake with a brush.
