Cinnamon chicken from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breast fillets without skin
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of turmeric
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 40 ml vegetable oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

quick and tasty

Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper. Beat the cinnamon and turmeric with the eggs thoroughly. Coat the fillets first in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Brown them skin-side down in hot oil for two minutes. Turn them over and bake in an oven preheated to 170°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes. For extra crispiness, briefly remove the pan from the heat and reduce the temperature to 230°C. Return the chicken to the oven for a few more minutes, until the desired browning is achieved.
