Cinnamon Cookies

The perfect cinnamon cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 200 g Butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 3 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 g Ground almonds

To sprinkle:

  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Cinnamon

For the dough:

  1. Stir the butter until creamy.
  2. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon and stir.
  3. Add the eggs and stir in.
  4. Mix the flour and baking powder, sieve, add and stir.
  5. Add the almonds and stir in.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls and flatten them. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  7. Bake at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.

To sprinkle:

  1. Melt some butter and spread it on the cooled cookies.
  2. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top.
