Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 65 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • Flour for the work surface
  • Milk for brushing
  • Cinnamon-sugar mixture

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Makes about 80 cookies that are tasty not only at Christmas time.

Knead the flour with the butter, sugar, and sour cream. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Then roll it out on a floured surface and cut into small triangles using a pastry wheel or knife. If I make the cookies during the year, I tend to make them a bit larger. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with milk. Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the cookies. Bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 200°C (400°F) for about 10 minutes.
