Vegetarian pasta sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 onions
  • 3 garlic cloves (more or less)
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp basil, frozen
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Sugar
  • 150 ml vegetable stock (less or more as needed)
  • 1 cup crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fresh, light and delicious – no more bags!

Finely chop the onions and garlic and sauté in olive oil. Add the tomatoes with their juice and chop them slightly. Add the oregano and basil and simmer gently. Add enough vegetable stock until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Stir in the crème fraîche and season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and sugar.
