Clean fryer: remove old fat
- First, the old fat is disposed of. Fill the slightly cooled fat into a bottle or a suitable container. If the fat has already dried, you can reheat it briefly.
- Never dump fryer fat down the drain or toilet. Even small amounts of fat can quickly clog drains. If you let the fat harden, you can easily dispose of it with household waste.
Instructions: Clean the fryer properly
- Take a piece of paper towel and wipe off most of the excess grease. Then put some washing-up liquid in the fryer and fill the device with water up to the fat rim.
- Turn on the fryer and let the water boil for about 10 minutes. If you pour off the water, you can rinse out the fryer with a little water and a dash of vinegar.
- Warm water and a towel ensure the final cleaning. For stubborn dirt, you can use a dishwashing tab instead of washing-up liquid.
