Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 slices of sandwich toast
- some mayonnaise
- 1 tomato(s)
- 1 slice(s) smoked turkey breast or cooked ham or smoked pork sausage
- 1 leaf of iceberg lettuce, if desired
- some salt and pepper
- 1 egg(s), hard-boiled
- 2 slice(s) ham, raw (e.g. bone-in ham or bacon)
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
our favorite sandwich
Spread a slice of sandwich bread with mayonnaise. Place the lettuce leaf on top. Then top with sliced turkey breast (or cooked ham or smoked pork). Wash and slice the tomato, then arrange it on top. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with a slice of sandwich bread. Spread this slice with a little mayonnaise as well. Slice the hard-boiled egg, arrange it on top, and season lightly with salt. Now fry the raw ham in a pan for a while (do not let it harden, just sizzle gently) and place it on top of the egg. Spread the last slice of sandwich bread with a little more mayonnaise and cover the sandwich with it. Cut diagonally and serve. It’s very filling and we love it.
