Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g chicken fillet(s)
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 2 handfuls of basil, fresh
- 2 chili peppers, finely chopped
- some fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- Salt
- 250 ml coconut milk
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the meat into approximately 1 cm thick slices and the basil into approximately 1 cm wide strips. Fry the chicken fillet pieces in a little oil until cooked through, then add the basil, coriander, oyster sauce, sugar, and, if desired, a little salt. Continue frying briefly, then remove from the pan. Add a little more oil to the same pan and fry the onion and chilies until softened. Return the meat to the pan, heat briefly, add the coconut milk, and let it simmer.
