Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 egg whites
- 150 g sugar
- 65 g quark
- 4 drops of bitter almond flavor
- 200 g desiccated coconut
- wafers
- Cake icing (chocolate)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Super – nice and moist, makes about 20 macaroons
Beat egg whites until stiff. Combine sugar, quark, and bitter almond oil. Stir in the desiccated coconut. Carefully fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Place the finished batter in small heaps on wafers. Bake at 200°C for 10-15 minutes. Top with chocolate icing, if desired.
