Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1,000 ml milk
- 100 g semolina
- 100 g cane sugar
- 50 g desiccated coconut
- 1 vanilla pod(s) (Bourbon vanilla)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 50 g almond flakes
- possibly sour cherries

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
classic semolina pudding with coconut, almonds and bourbon vanilla
Bring the milk, cane sugar, bourbon vanilla, and salt to a boil. Add the semolina and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and let it swell for 3 minutes. Then add the desiccated coconut and pour everything into a glass bowl. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and let cool. Garnish with sour cherries, if desired. Pairs well with fruit salad.
