Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1,000 ml milk
  • 100 g semolina
  • 100 g cane sugar
  • 50 g desiccated coconut
  • 1 vanilla pod(s) (Bourbon vanilla)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g almond flakes
  • possibly sour cherries

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the milk, cane sugar, bourbon vanilla, and salt to a boil. Add the semolina and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and let it swell for 3 minutes. Then add the desiccated coconut and pour everything into a glass bowl. Sprinkle with sliced ​​almonds and let cool. Garnish with sour cherries, if desired. Pairs well with fruit salad.
