Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter, room temperature
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 tsp coffee (instant espresso powder)
- 1 egg yolk
- 175 g flour
- 50 g hazelnuts, ground
- powdered sugar
- Jam (strawberry jam)

Using a dough hook, work together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and espresso powder until smooth. Briefly mix in the egg yolks. Add the flour and hazelnuts and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and chill for at least 2 hours. Form the dough into cherry-sized balls and place on the baking sheets. Using the end of a wooden spoon, make a hollow in the balls and add the jam. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Almonds can also be used instead of hazelnuts.
