Ingredients for 4 servings:
- Ribs (chop ribs, 4 strands)
- 500 ml cola
- 500 ml tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 chili pepper(s)
- 4 garlic cloves
- salt and pepper

sweet and sour spare ribs
Mix cola, ketchup, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, chili, garlic, pepper, and salt to make a marinade. Place the ribs in a large, shallow container and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 12 hours, turning them over several times. Preheat the oven to 180°C, drain the ribs, place them on the oven rack, and bake for about 90 minutes. Turn the roasting pan over the rack and bake for about 90 minutes. Turn it over halfway through cooking. Bring the marinade to a boil and simmer gently for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve as a sauce with the ribs. Serve with baked potatoes and salad.
