Cold herring fillet cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 can of fish (herring fillets in tomato sauce)
  • 2 gherkins
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise from a tube or jar
  • pepper
  • 2 slices of bread
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

delicious with fresh bread

Finely dice the gherkins and onion. Empty the contents into a bowl, add the mustard and mayonnaise, and mix everything with a fork until smooth. Stir in the diced onion and gherkins and season with pepper. Spread the mixture on two lightly buttered slices of fresh bread and serve immediately.
