Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 8 slice(s) toast bread (three-grain toast)
- 1 mozzarella
- 2 tomatoes
- 3 m.-sized egg(s)
- 2 leaves of iceberg lettuce
- 2 slice(s) ham, cooked
- Salt
- pepper
- Parsley
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the tomatoes, mozzarella, cooked ham, and iceberg lettuce into pieces that fit comfortably on a slice of toast. Whisk the eggs and season with salt, pepper, and parsley to taste. Pour into a hot pan and cook as an omelet. Remove from the pan and cut into quarters so that you can drape a wedge of egg on the toast. Now top the toast, starting with the iceberg lettuce, cooked ham, egg wedge, mozzarella, and finally the tomatoes. Place another slice of toast on top, press down gently, and cut crosswise to create two triangles. You can also arrange the whole thing a little more artistically on a plate by placing a few lettuce leaves on the plate, small slices of cucumber, and tomato quarters, and then adding the triangles. Enjoy!
